Slovakia is one of the European leaders in automatization and digitalization of the factories. Located in the heart of Europe is one of the most stable countries in Europe and a home to the key local automotive industry players. The Country is also a base for such sectors as: Electronics & Electrical Components, Chemicals & Plastics, ICT, Shared Services & Business Process Outsourcing, Aviation and Space or Food Processing Industry.
Catalonia, a global smart industry hub is developing the Industry 4.0 solutions in an entire ecosystem supporting the digital transformation. The Catalan diversified industry includes suppliers of tailor-made solutions, components and equipment for the production process and R+D Centers. Its universities offer industry 4.0 studies and Barcelona hosts the key international trade fairs and events: IoT Solutions World Congress and the Advanced Factories Expo and Congress. The companies in this sector are highly internationalized and focused in segment markets.
